Surprise Burgers Dough: 6 cups flour 2 tsp salt 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup salad oil 2 cups lukewarm water 2 pkg yeast Meat filling: 2 lbs ground meat 1 medium onion, diced 1 TBSP garlic 1 tsp salt 1/2 cup flour 2 cups grated cheese To prepare dough: Sift flour, salt, and sugar together. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add water-yeast mixture to flour mixture. Add oil. Mix well. Cover and let rise until double in size. Punch down and knead well. While dough is rising, prepare meat filling: Cook meat, onion, garlic, and salt until done. Add flour until meat sticks together. Cool meat slightly. Add grated cheese to meat mixture and stir well. Pinch off a roll size piece of dough and flatten in a circle. Put 1/4 cup of meat filling in center and pull dough around meat to make a roll. Place on cookie sheet; brush with oil and let rise 15 to 20 minutes. Bake at 375 deg. F until light brown. Brush with butter. Makes 25 Surprise Burgers.
